VITA MORS

Art

Museum-grade reproductions of the works that defined darkness, mortality, and the sacred.

Descend

Great art is never
decoration.

Vita Mors Art is a curated house of fine art reproductions drawn from the European canon — Goya, Bosch, Caravaggio, Bruegel, Cole, Doré — works that confronted the human condition without flinching.

Each piece is printed on Hahnemühle cotton rag, the same archival paper used by the Tate, the Louvre, and the V&A for their own editions. Each frame is real wood. Each shipment is the work of a master printer in the buyer's own country.

We do not sell posters. We sell the conversation that begins the moment someone walks into the room.

Five Forms, One Standard

Every piece in the catalogue is offered in five forms. Choose the paper, the size, and the frame that meets the room.

I
Hahnemühle
German Etching
310 gsm · 100% Cotton · Matte
The flagship paper. A heavyweight cotton with a velvety textured surface — the closest reproduction can come to the feel of original canvas. Reserved for the dark oils: Goya, Caravaggio, Cole.
From 89 USD
II
Hahnemühle
Photo Rag
308 gsm · 100% Cotton · Matte
A smoother cotton rag with refined felt structure. Ideal for engraving and line work — Goya's Caprichos, Doré's Inferno, the etched darkness of Piranesi.
From 79 USD
III
Framed
Edition
Real Wood · Acrylic Glaze · Hand-Finished
Cotton-rag print, dressed in solid wood. Choose black or walnut. Pre-matted, pre-mounted, pre-wired. Hung from the box.
From 169 USD
IV
Gallery
Canvas
400 gsm · Gallery-Wrapped · 1.5" Depth
Stretched and mounted on a true pine frame. The scale that asks to be seen across a room — Cole's Destruction at thirty-by-forty-five, Bosch's Garden at full breadth.
From 179 USD
V
Premium
Matte
200 gsm · Archival · Museum-Quality
The entry edition. Heavyweight matte for the buyer beginning a collection — or the gift that opens a door. The first piece. Never the only piece.
From 39 USD

The work belongs to those who recognise it.

I
The Home
The library, the study, the room where the light is low and the conversation is long.
II
The Office
The space that signals taste before the first word is spoken. The art that closes the room.
III
The Gift
For the collector, the colleague, the friend who has every book and no walls left to fill.
